今宵はオンラインでバンジョーフェスティバル！✨
私が大ファンであります、スーパーバンジョーリストの青木研さんが出演！🤩
ひさしぶりのライブ演奏！お元気そうで何よりでした！やっぱり世界の青木さん!素晴らしい演奏でした！😍
本当にピック1枚であんなに素晴らしい演奏ができちゃうなんてすごいです！
実は青木さんは4弦バンジョー界では本当に著名な方で、独学でバンジョーをマスターされ、2010年、アメリカ･サンノゼのバンジョー大会にヘッドライナーとして、2011年、FIGA主催の全米バンジョーコンヴェンションに、2013年はハンガリーで開催されたジャズフェスティバルにソリストとして招聘されました！
米JAZZ BANJO MAGAZINE、ALL FLETS、オランダBN/DESTEM誌、ジャズ批評社「ジャズ批評」JAZZLIFE誌などで特集記事が組まれる程なんです！
司会・主催は原さとしさん。
このフェスティバルを創設された方です。青木さんも当初からサポートされていたそう。
横浜バンジョーフェスティバルは2004年から始まったそうなのですが、身近なのに全然知らなかった…！😨
司会の原さんが横浜とバンジョーの歴史を教えてくれました。
2004年はペリーが来航からちょうど150年周年で、そして横浜沖の黒船の中で日米交歓会という親睦会が開かれ、その席の最後の演目がバンジョーだったそうです。それは横浜が初めてバンジョーに出会った時でもあるそうです。
ライブの中でその当時に使用されたバンジョーも紹介されています！なんと1840年代製!😲
うーん、確かに音色も何か素朴で歴史を感じますねえ。😌
そして、きつねのトンプソンさんの演奏もよかった！特に木琴が素敵でした！
横浜にこんな素敵なお店があるなんて知らなかった！

Tonight, here is the banjo festival online✨
Mr. Aoki, a super great banjo player, I’m a big fan of him, he was on stage!🤩
It was the fisrt time stage for a while! Mr. Aoki looked fine, that was really nice! Anyway, Mr. Aoki is great! Wonderful performance!😍
It’s really amazing that he plays such wonderful music with one pick only!
In fact, Mr. Aoki is very famous in 4strings banjo of the world. He masterd banjo on his own and was invited to the popular competition, as headliner of the banjo competition in San Jose, America 2010 and as a guest soloist of the FIGA banjo convention 2011 and the Hungary Jazz Festival 2013!
Also he was introduced in some articles of American JAZZ BANJO MAGAZINE, ALL FLETS, Holland’s BN/DESTEM magagine, Japanese jazz magagine, “JAZZLIFE” etc…!
The host and organizer is Mr. Satoshi Hara.
He established this festival and Mr. Aoki have supported this festival from the beginning.
Yokohama banjo festival started since 2004 but I didn’t know this although Im close to…!😨
The host, Mr. Hara told us about history of Yokohama and banjo.
2004 is 150th anniversary since ” Gunboat diplomacy”, Commodore Perry of America arrived to Japan and the friendship exchange party between America and Japan at American ship in Yokohama. The last performance was banjo paying of this party and it was a first time for Yokohama to meet banjo.
In this youtube live, he shows a banjo that used in these era! It was made in 1840’s!😲

Then Kitsune no Thompson(Thompson the Fox) performance was great, too! the xylophone was great!

At the beginning, Mr. Hara and Mr. Aoki’s “My Grandfather’s Clock” sounds really clock, so it’s great!
Then Mr. Aoki’s Rhapsody in Blue sounds like orchestra’s one, as if not by one banjo only!🤩
