この日は横浜の新しくできたカフェへ！
横浜の阪東橋駅から徒歩5分ほどの「フタバストア」という、コーヒーとお料理が楽しめるカフェ兼クラフトショップ。
オーナーさんはニューヨークでダンス修行をされていたそうで、そこでコーヒー飲み歩きをされていたそうです。お店の内装やインテリアも、シンプルだけど洗練された感じの空間です！
ちなみにオーナーさんは現在も白楽の「スタジオアイランド」というダンススタジオでヒップホップダンスを隔週日曜日に教えいらっしゃるそう。凄い！✨
今回はアイスコーヒー（550円）を注文。深入りと中入りタイプがあり、濃すぎるのがちょっと苦手なので中入りタイプを選択。あっさりして、でも香りもあって、苦すぎないスッキリとした味わいでした！
カフェの奥にはクラフト雑貨が並べてあり、レトロ＆可愛いグッズがいっぱい。
このクラフト感がシアトルとかポートランドのコーヒーショップの雰囲気をも思わせます！😊
カフェはイベントスペースとしても利用できるそう。
このクラフトが並んでいる台は、なんと落語の高座にもなるそうです！
理由は、このカフェのある南区出身の落語家の桂歌丸師匠と師匠の活動拠点だった三吉演芸場をリスペクトされてとのこと。今時、落語のスペースがあるカフェなんて珍しい！
落語も好きな筆者にとって、これはとても魅力です！落語は日本の素晴らしい芸術だと思います。あの語り口調がとても日本語に合っていて、機知に富んだ言葉遊びと洒落が、素晴らしい話芸だと思う。東京のとあるジャズバーのご主人の言葉を借りると、「華麗なる大衆芸術」。
まだ講談の予定は決まってないようですが、その内、色々インベントを企画されたいとのこと。
音楽ライブも検討中らしい！アイデアがとても面白くて良いです。
今回お料理は時間がなくてたどり着きませんでしたが、写真をみると、みんな美味しそうなので、また次回。

ちなみに今回このお店を知ったのは、私が大ファンの音楽家さんのおひとりのビブラフォン奏者の宅間善之さんのInstagramで紹介されてるのを見たから。本当に演奏がオリジナリティ溢れていて、技術とセンスが素晴らしい。🤩
オーナーさんは同じ学校の同級生だそうです！

他にも、カフェにはオーナーさんと同じ学校の出身者の方がいらしたりして、地元の方やお知り合いらしきお客様で賑わっていました。地域のコミュニティーをつなぐ素敵な空間！

On this day, went to a new opened café in Yokohama!
“Futaba Store“, a five-minute walk from Bandobashi Station in Yokohama, is a café and craft store where you can enjoy coffee and food.
The owner had learned a dance in New York and had coffee-hopping often there. The interior and decor of the store is simple but sophisticated!
By the way, the owner teaches hip-hop dance every other Sunday at a dance studio called “Studio Island” in Hakuraku, Yokohama still now. Great work!✨
The space has a simple but sophisticated feeling!
This time, I ordered an iced coffee (550 yen). They have two types, deep and medium. I prefer mild tastes, so chose the medium type. It was light, yet had good aroma, and had a refreshing flavor that was not too bitter!
In the back of the café, craft goods are lined up, full of retro and cute goods.
This craftiness also reminds me of a coffee shop in Seattle or Portland! 😊
The cafe can also be used as an event space.
The stand where these crafts are lined up can also be used as a rakugo (Japanese comic storytelling) stage!
The reason for this is to show the respect for rakugo master Katsura Utamaru, who is from the Minami Ward where the cafe is located, and the Miyoshi Engeijo, which was his base of activities. Nowadays, it is rare to find a cafe with a space for rakugo!
This is very great for me, who likes rakugo! I think rakugo is a wonderful Japanese art form. The tone of the storytelling is very well suited to the Japanese language, and the witty word play and puns are a wonderful art of language. In the words of the owner of a jazz bar in Tokyo, it is “a glorious popular art form”.
The shop would like to plan various events in the near future.
They are also considering a live music concert! The idea is very interesting and good.
I didn’t have time to get to the dishes this time, but looking at the photos, they all look delicious, so it’s for the next time.
By the way, I found out about this restaurant on Mr. Yoshiyuki Takuma‘s Instagram post, he is a vibraphone player and one of my favorite musicians! He is one of great musician and his play is really full of originality, amazing skill and sense!🤩
The owner is a his classmate from the same school.
There were other more people in the cafe who were from the same school as the owner, and who seemed to be acquaintances of the owner or local. It is a wonderful space that connects the local community!
